School Meals

Our school dinners are cooked on the premises. There is a main course, vegetables and puddings while salad, bread and fresh fruit are always available. We serve lunches in a ‘family dinner’ service, where children from different age groups sit together and adults serve their dinner. We try to make lunch time a social occasion where we encourage politeness and good manners.

Dinner money should be paid either in advance or on a daily basis, we would like to encourage parents and carers to sign up for Parent Pay where you will be able to pay for your child/ren(s) meal. Children eligible for Free School Meals will not be charged; children in FS2, Year 1 and Year 2 will be entitled to a free meal under the Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) Government initiative. The school office can provide information for parents and carers who may be entitled to claim free school meals for their children.

Children who opt for a packed lunch will eat in the dining room alongside their friends. We encourage all children to have a drink of water or milk with their lunch. Menus are available below, from the office and are on display throughout school.

We have two lunchtime sittings; FS1, FS2 Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 sit down to eat at 12:00 noon. Year 4 – 6 sit down to eat at 12:30pm.

Cost per day: £2.30
