As you know from our last letter to you, we continue to plan for wider opening
at Greengate Lane. In these uncertain times, I want to be able to give you as
much clarity as I can about the date this is likely to take place and I am writing
to let you know that the school will not open more widely from 8th June.
Instead, the earliest date at which we might start to welcome back more
children is Monday 15th June, but I will write again to update you as plans are
finalised. This is in line with the advice of Sheffield’s Director of Public Health,
which was published last Friday. This will allow us to consider further advice
from Sheffield’s Director of Public Health, once it is updated and we will let you
know as soon as any decision is made.

intentions of returning to school. You MUST confirm your intentions so that we
can plan our classes effectively. Thank you to all who have done so already.
As we have been throughout lock-down, we will continue to be open to the
children of key workers, those in other designated categories. For all other
children we will carry on providing distance learning to support their education
at home. This may look slightly different as we open to wider year groups of
